Tuberculosis, malaria, dengue fever, leprosy, respiratory illnesses, parasitic diseases and other major diseases are common in Timor-Leste. Malnutrition and unsanitary living condictions compound health problems. Many people do not have good access to health care. These photographs were taken in the Bairopite clinic in the capital Dili.
